Dir En Grey - New Single

Hello everyone, and happy friday. This shall be another music post, this time focusing on Dir En Grey. With the cold weather, shorter days, and general stress that encompasses the end of the semester/year, I need a little extra to pump me up. I was originally planning on sharing my winter playlist, but that can probably wait until the weekend. But to give everyone a little hint of what that playlist shall include, i give you one artist: Sia.
Anyways, today's music post includes Merciless Cult by Dir En Grey, who just released a new single: Hageshisa to, Kono Mune no Naka de Karamitsuita Shakunetsu no Yami, aka the long epicness. So i will host two videos, Merciless Cult and Hageshisa etc etc etc etc. Enjoy the Diru!

Paris

Hey everyone, welcome to the first new post of my redesigned blog. I got the palette off this amazing site, and well, the rest is history. So this is gonna be a short music post, highlighting a song i can never get enough of "Paris" by Groove Armada, off of their Soundboy Rock album. Maybe this will make you think of your relationship.

This isnt coffee related, i swear

You know, I'm really starting to re-think this theme. Its been a while since i last did anything on this blog, and comments about the theme is part of the reason, you know who you are. So anyone have any ideas on what I should change the theme to? I'm thinking blues, some black, and maybe some white. I obviously have no experience with blog themes, so anyone mind lending a hand?

p.s. - i still drink coffee, BITE ME.

Ugh...

Well then, its official: life gives me a headache. I guess I shouldnt complain, because I acutally got a couple things done, college wise. I got three teachers to agree to do letters of recomendation for me, now I just hope they can make my half-decent grades and activity levels look good on paper. Thats pretty much all the good news though.

English was interesting, since we got our improptus back. Too bad I failed to notice the whole "racism, black girl, lynching" bit in the story we had to use for the essay. I mean, it outright said "dark brown hand" so yeaaaa, Im trying to figure out just how out of my gourd I was Friday morning. In physics, I ended up wasting a whole period that was given to do the homeowrk, since I was stupid enough to do the wrong homework. Yaay me...alright, I'm done whining. Thats not why I made this blog.

Anyone who knows me knows I listen to a myriad of different music. Lately, the song I have been keeping on repeat is the Throw It In The Bag remix feat. Drake. However, it doesn't take a rap aficionado to realize that Fabulous cannot rap. I love Drake's verse, and realized that I was talking about a cougar...hm...Drake likes the older women?? Anyways, I was ecstatic when I found the instrumental for this song, because the beat is smooth. This song would have worked better as a Drake only release, but alas we can never have everything we want. My personal review of the Zune HD will be coming by this weekend, and to snub my friend. HAH sucker theres no coffee this time. Anyways, later all. I might do something with this site this weekend.

Coffee Break

Hello Everyone, as I sit here with a cold cup of coffee, I decided to grace this page with a short update on the things going on around me. To start off, the good news (at least in my mind): Part one of my goal is complete, I now have a 16 GB Zune HD. A full review of the device will be here in the coming days, along with a comparison to previous devices I have used. As for life, well, it is easy to tell college is around the corner. From the course-load to the college applications patiently sitting in my bookmarks, I really need to get busy. My first moves will be the college essays and getting my Portfolio ready for University of Illinois and any other college that requests it.

Another part of this phase is the Letters of Recomendation. Not all colleges accept them, or even like them, but a scholarship I am applying for REQUIRES it, along with a copious amount of essays. These next two months shall be fun. I will attempt to recreate a site I once created in Dreamweaver, but the finer points of it, like the table, will be a little more difficult. I'll keep you all updated in my work, wish me luck.

I Need It Extra Strong

Well, everyone, this is the day I've been dreading.  Thats right, its MONDAY.  Nothing good ever happens on a Monday, so I have just come to expect it.  I'm slightly embarrassed for my race, after that BS Kanye West pulled last night, and no, it is not a good idea to only get 5 hours of sleep before a Monday.  If you have no idea what I am talking about, well then, watch the news.

Moving on,  I realized that I haven't made a music orientated post yet, so this will be the first one.  You see, you need a special kind of playlist to get through a Monday, one that either has a good amount of rock or just some upbeat, feel-good music.  I'll chose feel good, so everyone, please enjoy "Kyouki" by Shinichi Osawa and Nima Tahmasebi.  I guarantee that this song WILL have you up and dancing.

Next time, I'll choose something a little smoother, but right, I'm more worried about starting the week off right.  Next item on today's list is actually...Tomorrow.  Tomorrow, September 15, 2009 is the release of Microsoft's Zune HD.  I'm reaaaally excited about this, but probably won't see one in hand until the weekend.  However, there are so many youtube videos to watch and internal computer problems to take care of first...like the fact that I cannot download anything from the Microsoft site, no matter what browser I use.  I've had this problem for a while, but this is the first time its actually become an real issue. I'm thinking of a master plan...you may not see me until it is done.  Have a good Wind Down everyone and see you tomorrow.

Time Killer + Master Plan

Okay everyone, my first real post >33. Lets start off with my new guilty pleasure.  I am almost ashamed to admit that I am now a big MapleStory fan.  I spent a couple hours shanking trees with a thief's knife and trying to complete quests. Its a nice way to kill time and meet some new people.  I am not even a big MMO fan, but I have to admit, MapleStory is fun.  The download takes a nice chunk out of your time, because its a 1 GB download, and if you're on an older laptop like mine ('04) you'll probably get a bit of lag after the first 2 or 3 hours.  Personally, it was after 5 hrs that I got noticeable lag, compared to other games.  All in all, I say try it.

Next, if you know me, you know that I pretty much LIVE for technology.  From mp3 players and laptops to gaming consoles and cellphones, if they make it, I'm interested.  So the new ZuneHD is coming out this Monday, September 15th, and I am determined to get it.  Its 30 buck cheaper than the Ipod Touch (16 GB) at Walmart, which is actually 50 dollars off than other stores, like Best Buy, who are still selling it for $300.  It is my master plan (thanks to convenience) to get a new mp3 player, cellphone, and laptop within the next year.  We'll see how that plays out.  I still have to focus on getting ready for college, senior year at high school is bound to be eventful, and I'm planning on getting my driver's license soon. I'll keep you all updated. Thanks for coming.

First Cup

Hello everyone, thanks for coming to my blog. Most things here will be coffee themed besides the music and art, since everyone needs a nice cup every once in a while. Most days will be categorized as Caffeine High, The Wind Down, or Crash. For the next few days, I'll be messing around with the design and content. Also, please leave a message in the shoutbox, any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for coming,
